Wispes W24TH
Environmental wireless sensor node
W24TH is wireless sensor node complaint to Zigbee PRO protocol.
The node could act as coordinator, router or leaf depending to the firmware downloaded.
W24TH features:
- Temperature sensor;
- Humidity sensor;
- 3-axis Accelerometer sensor;
- Ambient light sensor;
- Gas sensor reader;
- MicroSD card reader;
- USB battery charger;
- 20 pins expansion digital/analog connector;
- SPI/I2C/UART interface
The power management subsystem provides agile standby enabling 8µW power consumption.

Wispes Wacc 2.0
Wispes Wacc 2.0 node is a wireless sensor device compliant to Zigbee PRO protocol.
The node is a simplified version of W24TH and performs online monitoring of movements and motion activities.
The core of the system is a 32bit microcontroller with a 2.4Ghz radio transceiver. 32Mhz CPU clock permits the development of complex applications and distributed data processing. The node embeds with an on-board 3-axis accelerometer sensor.
Wacc-2.0 is equipped with a USB battery charger and 10-pin expansion connector, which provides:
- Digital SPI bus: it can directly connect any digital device to the internal microprocessor;
- 4 General Purpose Digital Input/Output: it is possible to interface up to 4 digital signals both as input and as output. GPIOs can be used also to count pulses or to read signals frequency;
- 2 Input analog signals: Exploiting two 12bit Analog Digital Converter it is possible to read any analog sensor;
- DC power supply: the connector provides a filtered voltage supply to power directly external sensors or expansion boards. The maximum output power is 1,5Watt @ 3V as output voltage.

Wispes BAN development kit

A microSD card can be also used for local storing and data logging.
Batteries can be charged using USB.
The ECG expansion board is provided with a complete set of ECG probes.
